Contemporary art has undergone significant evolution in recent decades, marked by the integration of new technological media that have transformed both artistic creation and perception. Digitization and the use of advanced technologies have allowed artists to explore new forms of expression and create interactive and generative works that challenge traditional conventions. The 1st CoMDiF International Congress: Counterculture, Digital Media, and Possible Futures in Contemporary Creation is presented as an academic and artistic gathering. It analyses the experimental creative trends emerging on the 21st century, focusing on the disruptive incorporation of software and new media into various forms of artistic and digital expression in contemporary art. Such as computational creativity, social media as alternative spaces for artistic creation, contemporary experimental sound creation, and counterculture as a visual trend.
Applications are open to researchers, master's and doctoral students, and graduates of Fine Arts, Design, Fashion, Architecture, Performing Arts, Audiovisuals, Cultural Management, Art History, Pedagogy, Philosophy, Literature, Musicology, Linguistics, Anthropology, Communication and Engineering, among others. Applicants may submit both written and artistic works, provided they are aligned with the proposed sections

Proceedings: The presentations will be digitally published in a book of proceedings by the Academia Abierta publishing house and available in Open Access through the BURJ Digital platform of the URJC.Texts in Spanish or English will be accepted.
