On May 9, we will gather humans in-person at the University of Chicago’s MADD Center for a full-day AI +Video hackathon: join us for a talk by MYStudio--hot off the MIT Global Film Hack; stay for hands-on making with contemporary AI video tools, thanks to support from Krea; absorb an evening screening and awards at the Film Studies Center with Chicago artists Thorne Brandt & Maryam Faridani.
The week begins online on May 4 with a talk by Anyi Rao (ControlNet, AnimateDiff), on AI creativity, unstable authorship, and the murky interval between human intention and machine output.
