Fronteras Micro-Film Festival
Call for EntriesFronteras seeks short narrative and experimental video about borders for the 2025 edition of the Fronteras Micro-Film Festival.
We will select films for screening as part of a series of interactive installations that speak to border's artificiality and dire consequences on human life and the natural world. All submissions must speak to the theme of borders in some way.
The last edition of Fronteras showed at three different venues around New Mexico. This version will show as part of The PASEO Art Festival, a large two-day new media art festival in Taos, NM. We have officially been selected as part of The PASEO and are excited to show these films to a large audience during the festival.
There are 2 categories:
Portrait Films must not exceed 60 seconds (1 minute) in length and must be submitted in 9:16 format.
16:9 films must not exceed 180 seconds (3 minutes) in length and must be submitted in 16:9 format.
