Physical Computing Teaching Opportunity, Hunter College Spring 2026

We have an opportunity for someone interested in teaching Physcial Computing in the spring 2026 semester.
The class is in-person and will include both students in the Integrated Media Arts MFA and undergraduates.

Introduction to Physical Computing
IMA 767 / MEDP 349
This course introduces students to microcontroller programming, electronics, and physical interaction design. The bulk of the course will focus on the Arduino microcontroller for creating experiences that extend beyond the computer screen. We will also examine the use of electronics and interactivity in art and design. Weekly hands-­on labs, assignments, and readings will help students gain technical proficiency with these tools and develop a critical and creative eye for interactive technology.
